If Nothing Held Me Back

I was just thinking of how I was feeling pretty miserable right now, so I decided to write out what I would do right her,e right now if there was nothing holding me back. No lack of ability, no lack of opportunity, no lack of money, no lack of time…

First thing I would do was go on a long-term mission trip to Africa or China…or both. I would love to go work with orphans in China for several months, and go work with people in extreme poverty in Africa (or I guess the Middle East would be cool, too).

Then I would finish up school…maybe get a master’s or something…not sure, though. I like school, so maybe.

While I was working on school, I would get married, and start the adoption process. I would adopt twins from somewhere. I don’t really care where or how old they would be. But I do think it would be awesome to have twins because twins are like 10x more cute than just a single baby…I’m around enough of them to know this for a fact. And to me adopted babies are way more cute than biological ones, so adopted twins would probably break the scales on cuteness.

Then I would…I don’t really know. I would raise my children, be a wife, maybe (okay, definitely) volunteer at my church a lot. I might move. I might do something crazy, like move to a foreign country for missions. Work with youth maybe. I enjoy that a lot. I would be involved at my church, though, no matter where I lived.

Then if I wanted to really dream big, I would win the lottery :)
